Looe is a great place to hold a wedding ceremony and why not get married in the beautiful setting of East Looe Guildhall, in the heart of the town, for your special day.
The impressive and historic Grade 11 listed Guildhall was built in 1877 – as can be seen on the weathervane that proudly stands at the top of the clocktower.
I am happy to announce that I am now the Wedding Coordinator for The Guildhall and will be running Weddings, Renewal of Vows, Naming Ceremonies and Celebration of Life ceremonies.
Your wedding ceremony will take place in the first floor Guildhall Chamber with a high wooden ceiling, large oil paintings and, of course, magnificent stained glass windows.
The Chamber gives a sense of occasion and can host small intimate weddings with just the couple and two witnesses, or can seat up to 60 guests, or any number in between.
Exchanging vows is a special moment for all couples and such a memorable event deserves to take place in a historic building
I will be part of your journey, from your initial enquiry to the day of your ceremony. I will work closely with you to ensure that your ceremony is exactly what you have dreamed of.
The Guildhall is licensed to perform civil marriages, or you can choose to have a celebrant led ceremony. Or maybe both? The choice is yours!!
Why not book a viewing and envisage your special day in person.
