Sand Ceremony

A Sand Ceremony is the visual symbolisation joining two people together in marriage by the blending of two different coloured sands.

You will need three glass vessels, one large one and two smaller ones.  The pouring of sand by the couple denotes the creation of their new union and is a wonderful keepsake of their wedding day.

You can also include other family members by adding more different coloured sand and take turns to pour everyone’s sand into the larger vessel to acknowledge your children or the blending of two families.

It’s also a great way to make children feel involved in your special day.  You can also personalise your vessel with your names and date of your ceremony.
